Welcome To My New Beginning!!!!

Hello!! Welcome!!
I am so super excited to finally be able to share not only my new look with all of you but also my new logo!!
Chelsea with Aqua Poppy has done such a great job designing and setting everything thing up for me.
If this is your first time here...let me back up just a bit...
Each of these steps are so momentous to me as they are the physical proof of all the hours and hours and days and weeks I have been working to launch Twisted Lily Photography.


I am so excited to continue this journey forward and to share the bits of beauty I get to capture as well as the ups and downs of running a creative based business.  I love photography - I love it for real.  It is such a dynamic, technical and sometimes challenging art form and it inspires me to see beauty everyday in new ways.

Yay for a Day to Second Shoot!

So this past weekend we able to spend the day with a dear friend and his new bride.  It was a beautiful ceremony and day!!  


It was also a pretty fun day for me as i was able to be their second shooter for their ceremony - it was a nice change of pace for me.  I was able to photos and enjoy the day too!!

The ceremony was along a beautiful river and it was a nice intimate group of people

     Erin looked absolutely breathtaking and they both were beaming the whole ceremony

  Although the sun was shining we got a nice little sprinkle of rain to cool everyone off (thats what all those little specks are!!)

 They took time during their wedding to wash each others feet...a symbol of how they will serve each other throughout their marriage.

A Day with the Kids

So I decided to go on a little photo adventure with my kids the other day and have some fun while I checked out a new location and (hopefully) got some new pics of my kids for their official 2yr and 4yr old 'portraits'

We had a great day and I acctually got a few shots that make me pretty happy as a mom and a photographer! (Now thats a tough to do!!)
