A Family Family Photo Session

Yup I was doing a Family Photo Session with some of my Family! 
It is particularly fun to take pictures of family because they can't disown me, so I have no problem telling them to stand in snowbanks or to hike around in the rain. 
lol


I love how these photos turned out.  We had such great light and even though it was damp and raining we were able to get the shots we wanted.

Kicking Off A New Year

I thought that I would kick off this new year of blogging by sharing some of the last work I did in the past year....

I was so excited for the opportunity to do these family photos and it was a blast. We did the majority of the photos inside so that we could get all the various groupings without anyone freezing to stone but then we were able to pop outside (it was such a gorgeous day) and take some candids of the family playing in the local park.

These Two Gingerbread photos were taken by my sister in law Kim Stein - a fellow photographer  While I took family photos she was busy catching some of the behind the scenes moments - these gingerbread houses were a part of a gingerbread house contest the family decided to have amongst themselves! Fun idea hey!
